Post Magazine: Eric DeHaven heading up post at IMN Creative
GLENDALE, CA — Colorist, visual effects supervisor and creative director Eric DeHaven has joined IMN Creative (https://imncreative.com), where he will serve as head of post production for picture and lead colorist. The studio recently opened its new 15,000-square-foot facility, which is home to everything picture and editorial.
“Eric’s vision, experience and passion make him a perfect addition to our team,” says IMN Creative CEO and owner, Mark Binder. “IMN is so excited to have him onboard. He brings eyes to our ears.”
DeHaven has over 25 years of experience in the film industry, both in production and post. He won multiple MTV VMA awards in the late ‘90s and early 2000s, working on memorable music videos such as Hey Ya by Outkast, Pass the Dutch by Missy Elliot and Slave 4 U by Britney Spears. He also spent more than a decade at Rhythm & Hues, where he worked as a VFX supervisor and compositing artist on films such as The Chronicles of Narnia, The Fast and the Furious, and Life Of Pi. Other posts include stints at Riot and Logan.
In his new role, DeHaven will continue to help set IMN apart as a leader in immersive, high dynamic range content, expanding on the studio’s existing resume in immersive audio and mixing by embracing cutting edge picture technology.
